Science and maths! I did biology, chemistry and maths at school then went to uni to do pharmacy.

Well you certainly need to study science!

Maths to a degree is helpful, but you shouldn’t be put off if you are not amazing at maths – so long as you can do the basics you will be fine!

I would also highly recommend studying Computer Science or something similar. The way science is moving having a good knowledge of computers and programming will help you go a long way!

Science related subjects – at least one of chemistry, biology or physics and then some maths will help though it’s unlikely you’ll be doing anything as hard as A-level maths in a bio-related field.
I wish i’d had more statistics and programming knowledge before starting out, i’ve had to learn it and it can be a bit tough (worth it though!).
