      A PhD helps you to learn a lot of the techniques used in your area, it teaches you how to plan, carry out and analyse experiments. You get to learn how to be an independent researcher. All things you need to have a career in research. They basically prepare you for that.

      I don’t have a PhD but its great achievement for those who have!
