      It gives me a good salary. I work to get paid! Just ask your teachers!!! They’ll agree. 🙂
      I do also believe in the cause! My advice to you is to do something that you love or care about! So for me, I am trying to slow antimicrobial resistance and increase the public’s awareness of it. Check out my video on the subject: https://youtu.be/P8ikgCwsjNE

      I always wanted to do something i loved. I saw my parents go to work and hate what they did and that was something i didn’t want for myself. In this job i get to do a load of different things (teaching, research, outreach) and i enjoy it all and get paid quite well 🙂
      I get to do research in an area that might contribute to improving health and work with students to help them become the next generation of scientists. It can be stressful but i definitely get good job satisfaction.
