• Question: How long does it take to find cures to diseases?

      You might be able to cure diseases pretty quickly but bringing the cure/drug to market can take decades!!!! I think the average length is 10-15 years after you have first discovered the drug. There are a lot drug analysis and clinical trials to do!

      Depends on the disease. We need to know how people get the disease, how it spreads and what the effects on a person are. Once we have as much of that info as possible we can start thinking about ways to treat it. The background research can take years in itself and then many more years to be allowed to sell your treatment.
