      It depends on the level. A PhD stipend is about £14,500 (tax free), then a post-doctoral scientist may get £26-36,000. Industry positions are about the same as a post-doc and NHS ones are slightly lower. Academic lecturers/researchers can get anything from £35,000 up to £60,000 as a professor.

      Pharmacists are between £35K – £50K. More for management roles But do what you enjoy doing, rather than just seeing the $$$!
